Christopher worked as a youth counselor in a prison for troubled teens and has spent twenty-five years studying the fields of physical health and mental well-being. He currently lives in Gunnison, Utah with his wife and five sons. Christopher enjoys mountain running and gardening in his spare time, and networking with people via the Internet.
Another of Christopher's passions includes reading and writing related to the Law of Attraction and conscious manifestation. Christopher has provided a brief reference list of not only his books and articles but those books that influenced his growth in this field the most.
Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz
Christopher's first exposure to the Law of Attraction was through Maxwell Maltz's Psycho Cybernetics. Due to the fact that mental rehearsal is an important concept in the book Psycho Cybernetics, Christopher's high school wrestling coach insisted his wrestlers read it. The book discusses experiments performed using basketball players. The team was divided into three groups: one who practiced on the court, one who practiced only in their minds and one group who didn't practice at all. Having used the information they collected from the players' shooting, researchers discovered that the group who practiced mentally faired just as well as the players who practiced physically.
Given the positive results in his wrestling abilities, Christopher started doing it before other events. Through his use with dates, public speaking and sports other than wrestling, he found that mental rehearsal improved his performance no matter where he used it. He currently uses the technique and has passed along this knowledge to his sons.
Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
In Holographic Universe Michael Talbot discusses creating something tangible from spiritual or nascent matter. From this resource, Christopher came to understand that what he was doing was not simply visualization. This book heavily influenced Christopher's writing in his book I Create Reality.
The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles
When written in 1910, The Science of Getting Rich became a persuasive classic regarding mental or mind science.
I Create Reality by Christopher Westra
This outline and the ideas for his book I Create Reality came to Christopher while he was driving for work. The essence of the book is that things are created spiritually before they are created physically, in a process that has been going on for all eternity.
Realms of Joy by Christopher Westra
Realms of Joy is a companion to I Create Reality. It is about holographic time and how to live in holographic time. Christopher wrote this book to help people understand the difference between linear time and holographic time so they could better understand the idea of creation in the present.
Ten Ways That Holographic Creation is More Powerful Than Visualization by Christopher Westra
"Ten Ways That Holographic Creation is More Powerful Than Visualization" is a free special report by Christopher Westra. Visualization as traditionally taught is part of holographic creation, but not as deep. Holographic creation exists in the moment, outside of time; you create what you want on a spiritual level and it grows into physical reality. People for whom visualization is very powerful are actually practicing holographic creation. This report details the differences between the two.
